You will begin the excursion by leaving Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country, for Logroño, heart of La Rioja, where you will take a guided tour of the most emblematic places of the city, such as the Cathedral of Santa María la Redonda and Laurel Street, famous for its tapas and its atmosphere. After the guided tour, you will have free time to enjoy the local cuisine and explore this city so full of life at your own pace. After lunch we will head to Laguardia, a charming medieval village in Rioja Alavesa. The day will culminate with a visit to a traditional winery where you can learn about the winemaking process and participate in a guided wine tasting of the region in an idyllic environment surrounded by vineyards.
