Velika planina hike and Logar valley with picnic (small group)

Description

This full-day tour takes you to two of the country’s most breathtaking alpine areas — combining scenic mountain trails, traditional culture, and untouched nature. We start with a drive from Ljubljana to Velika Planina, the largest highland pasture in Slovenia. Here we enjoy a guided hike across the plateau ( 2–3 hours), walking among traditional herdsmen’s huts while surrounded by panoramic views of the Alps and the Ljubljana Basin. The pace and route are always adapted to the group. After we descend and continue through the scenic Savinja Valley to the stunning Logar Valley, one of Europe’s most beautiful alpine valleys. At the end of the valley, we take an easy walk to the impressive Rinka Waterfall, where nature feels truly untouched. Group size is limited to a maximum of 4 guests to ensure a personal, flexible, and high-quality experience. Larger groups are possible as private tours. Minimum walking time: 1 hour Typical hiking time: 2–3 hours across the plateau
