Legends and Mysteries of Croix-Rousse

Description

This dramatized tour of the slopes of Croix-Rousse takes you through Lyon's most obscure and mysterious legends: the White Lady, buried treasures, forbidden underground passages, ghosts, and initiation rites. Your actress-guide (not in costume) will recount ancestral legends, stories that have been told since the dawn of time. This tour takes you on a journey through the history of Croix-Rousse: from Antiquity to the 19th century, the heyday of silk workers and the world-famous silk industry, through its little-known traboules and alleyways. Enter the inner circle! This tour does not include any underground visits.
