Get hands-on with two Austrian favorites: traditional Apple Strudel and your own freshly baked Salzburg pretzel. You’ll prepare both yourself while being guided step by step by an experienced chef. Our small-group classes are fun, relaxed and interactive, making it easy to enjoy the experience even if you have never cooked before. Stretch the strudel dough until it is paper-thin, shape your own fluffy pretzel and discover the little tricks behind these Austrian classics. The cooking school itself adds to the experience: it is located in one of Salzburg’s oldest quarters, where centuries-old houses are built directly into the city mountain. More than just a cooking class, it’s a delicious and entertaining way to experience Salzburg, meet other travelers and take a little piece of Austrian food culture home with you.
