Escape the city for a half-day in the vineyards, Monsieur Bacchus style! Your guide meets you in central Bordeaux, hands you a premium e-bike, and we start with a canelé from our artisan partner Cassonade before crossing the Garonne. Then we join the Roger Lapébie path, a former railway line turned into one of the finest traffic-free cycle routes in South-West France. About 30 km, mostly on dedicated bike paths, with the e-bike doing the hard work. Through medieval villages, gentle hills and vineyard views, we reach a family château in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation for a guided tasting with the people who make the wine. Then we sit down in Sadirac, a former bastide village, for a proper lunch of local produce, the kind of meal that reminds you why the French take lunch so seriously. Cycling, wine and French countryside in about 6 hours, in a small group of 10 guests max.
